I'm a 1st year student here at UBC. I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section, but I will be taking classes in summer session. My question is, am I putting a little bit too much on my plate if I take on Biology 121, English 112, English 110, and Math 180 in one semester? My major concern is the two science courses, because I haven't heard anything about arts courses being too difficult to handle.

Today, I got an email saying that the english courses i had taken (UBC's ENgl 110 and Engl112) do NOT satisfy their lit. requirements!

Most schools, including UBC, accept these with no problems..

I can't tell you how many times I've heard someone say that they have a friend who was recently accepted into premed at UBC.

Now, I've worked there for 15 plus years and I organize resources for the med students had friends who went to med school and there is no PREMED program at UBC.

Application requirements for med school is a bachelors university degree (can be any subject as long as you take the prereq courses). I've got some really good MCAT books at great price... There are about 12 books all for 250$. The price is still negotiable. They are all in great shape, almost like new. I used them myself and found them very helpful. I won't need them myself b/c I'm starting med shcool this september.

With the UBC Undergraduate MD application, I know that UBC will take the highest overall MCAT score. I have taken the MCAT twice. Do I need to report both sets of scores or just the one with the overall higher score?
