Just wondering how UofA looks at multiple MCAT scores. Do they take the most recent one or do they average the scores?

I was looking at their website but wasn't able to find the info and their office is closed for the weekend.

Can any UofA meds answer this question for me?

I'm at UWaterloo, and took BIOL130 (Cell Biology, previously BIOL230) & BIOL139 (Genetics, previously BIOL239) in my first year. I'm sure BIOL130 would fit "general biology," but what about genetics?

i have a few questions about med schools requirements in general that perhaps some of you know the answer to. alot of med schools, both canadian and US, have as part of their academic requirements, a statement such as: "one year of biology, one year of organic chemistry, one year of biochemistry, one year of english, one year of behavior sciences, etc."

I wonder what kind of characteristics/criteria are medical schools looking for graduate applicants.

It seems to me that the GPA cut off is 3.0/4.0 for most schools but do they really take low 3.x as acceptable GPAs?

Are publications important? What about MCAT marks?
