I am currently a third year nursing student, so it was the only school I was eligible to apply to for right now... But even if I hypothetically got accepted to all the schools, Mac would still be my first choice!

On another part of the forum, someone stated that Mcmaster requires applicants to have 10 full courses above 2nd year . Where do they say this?

Is this a strict rule?

I'm one of many on the wait list for Mac this year. Just figured I'll start this thread for when the list starts moving. I know there are many of us still hoping and waiting for the reply. So I thought it would be great if we let each other know when the new wave of offers starts arriving. I think it might give us more hope hearing about the shifts in the list, plus will help us keep the time frame in perspective.

On their website they don't mention a cut off... but i wonder if there is a secret cut off? How else would they be able to weed through all the applicantions they recieve? If they do have a cut off...what would that magic number be?

Was anybody with lower marks ~3.6-8 accepted/waitlisted? Im just trying to figure out how true it is that there is a far greater emphasis on gpa's now. I had a 3.6 and was rejected post interview, even though I felt everything went relatively well.

I got a PM from one of the forum members regarding missing posts in the McMaster forum. It looks like the EZBoard system was hacked in the last couple of days, and they have damaged/deleted some of the old postings, as well as the backups of those messages. EZBoard is doing everything they can to restore these messages, but we'll have to cross our fingers and see if our messages can be retrieved. There's more information on it here:
