I am a high school student struggling to decide whether to go to UofT or Western.

I am very worried that if I go to UofT then, I will get a bad mark as others said UofT life science does give low mark to students.

Then, I heard Western gives out relatively high marks to students so it is better to preapre in Western than UofT.

Now that acceptances have started to role in, I've decided to create a separate topic for people to ask questions who are lucky enough to have a choice about where to go. I have a few questions most easily answered by those that are actually in medical school so here goes...

1) How possible is it to work during the school term? Since I'm going to have loans coming out of the ying-yang I wanted to see if I could start paying for that during school. I have a masters and thought perhaps I could get a part time job in a lab? Anyone out there do this?

I know this topic has been discussed before, but I was unsuccessful at finding it in the archives.

Does anyone know what type of envelopes one should expect if ther are accepted or rejected?

Are the acceptance letters in the standard white 8x3.5 inch envelopes or are they in the big brown envelopes?
