I did that, and the Registrar's office couldn't find me on their system. But then again, the girl that spoke to me didn't really know what she was doing . . . (she admitted that to me). . . so I'm confused.

I am aiming to enter Western MEDS one day. I am going into fourth year. My situation has become a little complicated because of some family problems and it costed me dearly...my third year marks dropped substantially. However, I already have one year above the requirements for UWO MEDS and I am doing an extra year to make up for this year and I am positive I can meet above the cutoffs. i got my tuition statement but im wondering if i should deduct my deposit amount when paying the amount noted on the statement. what happened to that deposit anyway? im not sure the amount was withdrawn from my account and there is no mention of it on this statement. should i assume that my $ draft will end up at finanacial aid? it doesnt make sense to pay the full amount when i know uwo's got a money draft for 1000 lying around somewhere....

I received my bill statement by mail today. There is a line which says 'anticipated aid' but there was no entry (not even $0.00). Do bursuries normally come with the bill statement or do they come later? I applied for a bursary online about a month ago. Should I be worried? Thanks.

The question is, with contracts and stuff, we're locked up for at least 2 years...and if we have to go out of London and into the surrounding areas, just wondering about coverage and stuff....

I was reading some of your posts about your summers off. Nice to see that there is a fellow Med student who surfs! I was just hoping someone could confirm that for Western you need 6 courses of social sciences or arts in order to be eligible. I started my application for Western on OMSAS and then just realized today that the web-site said 3 full year equivalents. I had convinced myself that only 3 course equivalents were needed. I have a second-hand, still unconfirmed report that the class of 2008 has been filled as of yesterday (July 16).

This is the earliest that a UWO meds class has been filled in many years....but I have no idea how the total number of offers made compares to other years.
